My story

Hey! I’m Sarah and I come from a little island called Malta. I moved to the UK to work as a doctor after finishing medical school. For as long as I remember I wanted to be a doctor and help people. Working as a doctor for 8 years, I learnt that I couldn’t help people the way I once dreamt I would. Unfortunately the health system did not allow me to offer the care I think a patient deserves. The leading causes of deaths worldwide are due to lifestyle factors but I did not see a health system that dealt with this, instead patients were prescribed medication which put a plaster on the issue rather than dealt with the root cause. The more time passed, the more I knew I wanted to help in a different and more holistic way, in a way that prevented diseases and modified lifestyle factors first and foremost.

In the mean time, I had two children and the fast-paced lifestyle just wasn’t working for myself or my family. I had very little time for myself. I was exhausted, meals were rushed, take-outs were ordered and I felt like I wasn’t the best I could be. I lost myself in motherhood and the hectic life demands. I was burning out and my anxiety was the worst it had ever been.

My journey led me to you

I wish I could tell you that I then found a magic solution were everything was instantly great again. But it took time. I started prioritising my needs, asking for me-time, focusing on home-made meals and exercise. I made a plan and I was consistent. I started feeling more and more like myself.

The real turning point was training as a health coach. Even though I had the knowledge and consultation skills as a doctor, learning about the psychology of making change really inspired me to make changes in myself. And they were changes that have stuck to this day. I would love to share all that I’ve learnt with others to help them make changes that last.

My experience of being a medical doctor, a mother and a holistic health coach has led me here. A corner of the internet where I hope to guide you to be YOUR best self. I know it’s not easy but I want you to believe that you can still feel amazing in this chaotic busy world we live in. You can feel confident in your own body and you can achieve the goals you set your mind to.

I am so excited to take this journey with you.
